This is the artefact behind the promise. You see the method, the pressure and the reason for each surface before anyone turns a hose on.

  1. 1 Render and painted walls. Soft wash, low pressure and a named detergent. Never a high-pressure gun that strips paint or gouges render.

Will high pressure damage my render, paint or roof? +
It can, which is exactly why we do not use it on those surfaces. High pressure strips paint, gouges render and can crack tiles or force water in behind cladding. Render, painted walls, roofs and panels get a low-pressure soft wash with the right detergent instead, so the growth lifts and the surface stays sound.
What is the difference between soft washing and high-pressure cleaning? +
Soft washing uses low pressure and a detergent that kills the mould and lichen and lifts it, so it works on delicate surfaces and stays clean longer. High pressure relies on force and is right for hard surfaces like concrete and driveways. The skill is knowing which surface gets which, and we put that in writing.
How do you decide which surfaces get high pressure and which get soft wash? +
We walk the property first and give you a Surface and Method Sheet: every surface listed with its method, pressure and detergent, and why. Render, roofs, paint, timber and panels are soft wash, concrete and driveways take high pressure. We also do a test patch before committing to the whole job.
Are you insured, and for how much? +
Yes, we carry $20M public liability and can send the certificate of currency before we start. Cleaning work does not require a trade licence in Queensland, so insurance is the credential that actually protects you. Ask any cleaner for it before you book.
What does exterior cleaning usually cost in Brisbane? +
As a guide, a single-storey house or render wash runs about $350 to $650, a roof soft wash about $500 to $1,200, and a driveway about $150 to $450 (indicative, modelled). The honest answer depends on the surfaces, their condition and access, which is what our online estimator and a quick walkthrough sort out. We publish ranges because most cleaners will not.

Will the cleaning harm my plants, windows or pets? +
No. We wet your plants down before and after so the detergent is diluted and rinsed, keep pets clear of the work area, and use surface-safe products. Windows are fine with the soft-wash method, and we leave the place rinsed, not coated in residue.
How long will the results last, and how often should I have it done? +
Because soft washing treats the growth at the source rather than knocking it off the top, it stays clean far longer than a blast. On treated soft-wash surfaces we guarantee no regrowth for 12 months, and most Brisbane homes suit a yearly clean, more often under heavy tree cover.
